Success Defined by You

My answer might surprise you. There are many parts to success. Success often feels insurmountable sometimes, hard work, ongoing determination, and persistent accountability. Even when you don’t feel it you need to stay positive, be disciplined, prepare for failure as well as success. Add to that taking risks, commitment, creativity, letting go of your fears and gathering the courage to move through the tough times. These factors will create real, everlasting success.

Success can feel different and defined differently by each person. Some may imagine it as sitting on an island with a cold drink watching your yacht bounce in the beautiful ocean. Some as the fulfillment of building their dream of providing a good life for their family, or just the satisfaction of saying I made it! Most of us, as soon, we achieve something,  we desire our dream becomes even bigger. Keep in mind that that success involves the failures that teach you the most important lessons of life. You may only feel the value of your accomplishments when you feel like not to succeed. Define what success is for you. Success is an inner game. Success lives in our experience every day. To feel successful, wake-up every day, and move towards your dreams; don’t give up feeling that success even in the tough times.

When things get hard, throw these into your pot of success.

  1. To wake up every morning, realizing we have another day to pursue our dreams.
  2. To be able to enjoy nature in its vivid forms and vibrant colors.
  3. To be able to create a difference in my life by helping others create a difference in theirs.
  4. To be able to smile at the unpredictability of life with its temporary twists and turns.
  5. To be able to overcome every challenge in life, no matter how grievous they might seem
  6. To be able to laugh, cry, dance, sing, and enjoy the abstract forms of art and good music.
  7. To know the fact if I stay positive, anything is possible.
  8. To be able to share my life with my loved ones.
  9. To sit in the seat of silence and experience the depth of its magnificent magnitude, meditating.
  10. To be able to enjoy the success y hard work and dedication will bring.

You don’t have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great.
